What we make
Staff Party is event software for social committees. It holds one event: the RSVPs, the dietary needs, the song requests, the check-in at the door, the raffle, and the photos afterward. One link goes out, and the answers come back to one place.
It is not a ticketing platform and it is not a survey tool. It is built for a specific job — a party for people who work together — and it does not try to be useful for anything else.
Why it exists
Almost every company party in the country is run by a volunteer, on top of their real job, with a spreadsheet and a printed list of names. The work is not difficult. It is just repetitive, spread across four tools, and invisible to everyone except the person doing it.
The parts that go wrong are always the same. The headcount from the form does not match the list at the door. The dietary answers arrive in an email thread the week the caterer needs numbers. The playlist gets built from whoever was loudest in the group chat. And the photos, which everybody took, never get shared.
Each of those is a small thing. Together they are the reason the same person does not volunteer twice.
Canadian, and local about it
We are based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and we build for Canadian workplaces first. That shows up in small ways — a December date means a storm might close the roads, and getting people home safely is part of the plan rather than an afterthought.
This site carries no analytics scripts and no third-party trackers. It loads its own fonts rather than pulling them from someone else's network. That is a deliberate choice, not an oversight.
